Effect of Naphthalene Acetic Acid & Indole Acetic Acid on Growth, Yield and Quality of Muskmelon (Cucumis melo L.)

The present experiment was carried out during Zaid 2021. In order to study the “Effect of Naphthalene Acetic Acid and Indole on Growth, Yield Quality Muskmelon (Cucumis melo. L). trail conducted at Biotechnology polyhouse, Department Horticulture, Naini Agriculture Institute Prayagraj. foliar spray two growth regulators like were separately different concentration (NAA @10ppm, 20ppm, 30 ppm, 40 50 60 70 80 ppm. IAA @ 100 200 300 400 500 600 700 800 result revealed among all treatments application NAA (80 ppm) is significantly gave positive impact growth, yield quality parameters.
 i.e. Vine length (153.96 cm), number days for 1st male flower (33.6 Days), No. female (38.83 Node which Male appears ( 4 . 1 ), Female 5 83) flowers (207.33), flowers(5.3) fruits per plant (3), diameter fruit (22.53 fruit(13.4cm), (1.4 kg), hectare (12.46 t), total soluble solids (11.30 Brix°), gross returns (3,73,800 Rs/ha), net (2,39,844 Rs/ha) Benefit: cost ratio (2.79) obtained other with @80 ppm compared treatments.
